This well-respected general practice was established over 30 years ago. Situated in a modern, 3400 sq. ft. brick building, the practice grosses $800,000 on a four-day work week with generous vacation and holiday time (approx. 172 patient days per year). The office features digital x-rays, a digital oral scanner, and a Cerec mill. Dual-monitor computers in each of the six operatories allow doctor and patients to view digital x-rays, intraoral camera images, and office forms. Additional computers in the laboratory, private offices, and front office allow for an efficient and convenient work flow.
The practice provides preventive, restorative, crown and bridge, implant restorations, and removable prosthodontics. A new owner has an opportunity for increased production as we refer out all endodontics and implant placements as well as most extractions.
We have a long-standing, multi-generational patient base. The practice continues to grow as a result of excellent patient retention and word-of-mouth referrals that provide a robust number of new patients. The fee-for-service practice accepts assignment of insurance benefits and private pay and does not participate in any managed-care or PPO plans.
Without a doubt the team ranks among the best with a high level of professionalism and dedication to both the practice and our patients. One FT and two PT hygienists provide a total of 6 ½ days of service per week. The two FT dental assistants and two FT front office staff are highly trained and proficient. We have invested considerable time developing, documenting, and implementing clinical, office, and communication systems so that all team members are confident and comfortable providing care and service to our patients.
The office features high end detail with an attractive reception and private consultation areas, doctor’s office with restroom, large staff lounge, private staff restroom, and an additional office space. The office was designed to allow for a 7th operatory. Whole-office ultraviolet air purification and HEPA filtration systems as well as new flooring throughout were installed in 2020. The finished basement features a large central area (approx. 800 sq. ft.) that can be used for a multitude of purposes including large team meetings or continuing education seminars. The basement also has a bathroom with shower, laundry room, large storage room, and mechanical room. Ample on-site parking and a great location make the office convenient and easily accessible.
Educational and cultural opportunities are enriched by nearby Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and local junior colleges as well as excellent parochial and public elementary and secondary schools. The area abounds in natural recreation offering boating, fishing, hunting, hiking, and camping. Nearby interstate highways allow for easy travel to larger cities.
This practice is an excellent opportunity for a caring dentist who wants to grow professionally while becoming a part of a welcoming community.
