Kevin P. Cooper, MBA
American Practice Consultants is a dental practice broker and appraiser that operates in New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. American Practice Consultants has over thirty-seven years of experience representing dentists helping them navigate the process of buying, selling, and transitioning dental practices.
American Practice Consultants was founded in 1985 by Kevin’s father, Dr. Philip Cooper. Kevin earned his Bachelor of Science with a double major in Information Systems and management from Fairfield University in Connecticut. He began his career in the Information Technology field working for Gartner, Inc. A few years later he returned to Fairfield and obtained an MBA with a concentration in Information Systems and Operations Management. In 2006 Kevin returned to NJ and worked for the American Board of Internal Medicine.
In 2017 Kevin joined his father at American Practice Consultants where he has assisted dentists with over fifty dental transitions. Kevin has written articles for ADS Dental Transitions and serves on the ADS Marketing Committee.
Kevin knows firsthand that practice transitions can be complicated, and the ins and outs of practice sales often exceed the dentist’s training. American Practice Consultants is qualified to help you with every step of the journey, including valuing your practice, marketing, negotiation, drafting contracts, arranging financing (often 100%), and planning for staff and patients through a practice transition. American Practice Consultants offers comprehensive services for clients selling their practice, including answering buyer’s questions, sending info packages to interested prospects, following up with prospects, and providing input on offers received. Even if you are not in the process of buying or selling a practice but you need a practice valuation or business advice, American Practice Consultants can help. We can also help create satisfying partnership arrangements by valuing the practice, preparing proposals, arranging financing, reviewing documents, and analyzing practice mergers. The firm can offer consultation for any kind of dental practice, including general, orthodontic, oral surgery, or other specialty practices.
If you have questions, call one of the East Coast’s most trusted names in dental transitions, American Practice Consultants. We have the experience and training to help you make the arrangement that will be best for all parties involved.
