Peter holds degrees in accounting, general business, and finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He worked as an accountant with several successful private companies including General Binding Company, Lane Hotels, Lane Aviation, Secret Communication, and others. He earned his CPA degree in 1996 just before joining ADS Midwest. Peter is a member and past president of ADS, a licensed real estate and business broker, a certified valuation analyst, certified exit planning advisor and a member of the Practice Valuation Study Group. He contributes articles frequently to Dental Economics, Illinois Dental News, and the Chicago Dental Review. He is an adjunct faculty member at Midwestern Dental School, lectures regularly to dental practitioners and students at meetings of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentists, and others.
Other key members of ADS Midwest’s team include Guy Jaffe and James Ackerman. Guy studied business at the University of Illinois–Champaign and earned his MBA from Washington University in St. Louis before going on to work in real estate. He is a member of the Practice Valuation Study Group, a founding member of ADS, and an approved sponsor of PACE (the Academy of General Dentistry’s organization for promoting high-quality continuing education for dentists). James studied accounting at St. Louis University and, after taking a few years to pursue his passion for piloting airplanes, James joined ADS Midwest in 2010.
