Frank J. Brown, J.D., LL.M.

President

Frank graduated with a business degree from Arizona State University and earned a law degree from the University of Arkansas. Furthering his legal and business education, he completed a Master of Laws in taxation at Southern Methodist University School of Law.

Frank began his professional accounting career in the tax department at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Company and then went into private practice as a tax attorney, where he handled his first dental practice transition in the late1980s. After several years in private law practice, Frank ventured into the business sector. He was involved in the transportation, insurance, finance and medical supply distribution industries.

Frank has held positions as Chairman of the premium finance division of the American Financial Services Association, President and Director of the Insurance Premium Finance Association of Texas, Chairman and Director of the Texas Motor Transportation Association Allied Division, Director of the J. Rueben Clark Law Society Dallas/Fort Worth and Director of the B.Y.U. Management Society Dallas/Fort Worth.



Gretchen Lovelace, M.S., CFP, CPM

Vice President

Gretchen obtained her B.S. degree from Louisiana State University and her M.S. degree from the University of New Orleans. She was an instructor at the University of New Orleans and conducted research at the LSU School of Dentistry before returning to Baton Rouge. Gretchen helped establish and supervise her husband’s periodontal practice while obtaining her certifications in Financial Planning and Practice Management. She is also a notary and licensed Realtor. She is the President and Founder of Lovelace and Associates, Inc. and has 24 years of experience in practice management and dental appraisals.

For the past 17 years, Gretchen has lectured at the LSU Dental School, and at national, state and local dental meetings. She currently mentors senior dental students at the LSU Dental School and the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in affiliations, practice start-ups and practice purchases. She is a member of The Financial Planning Association, the Institute of Business Appraisers. Gretchen has been published numerous times including several articles in Dental Economics.



Jed Esposito, MBA

Treasurer

Jed completed his MBA at the University of Colorado in 1988 and then managed a large dental group in Colorado. Subsequently, Jed accepted a position with a nationwide dental software firm. In 2003, Jed began appraising and selling professional practices as a licensed broker, as well as providing practice management consulting services, in the western United States. He is a partner and 50% owner of ADS Precise Consultants.

Jed is a member in The Institute of Business Appraisers and the national group Practice Valuation Study Group (PVSG).

Greg Auerbach, MBA

Marketing Director

Greg received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Central Florida and went on to earn his MBA from Wake Forest University, specializing in general management, service operations and brand marketing. 

Greg represents ADS Florida along the west coast of the state. In addition to local brokerage, Greg is also a financial analyst for the Pride Institute and Pride Transitions, as well as the marketing director for ADS Florida. Greg is a licensed Florida real estate broker-agent is a member of the Practice Valuation Study Group and has presented to local dental societies on practice transitions throughout the state of Florida.

Sarah K. Lynch

Past President

Sarah is a partner in Jim Kasper Associates, LLC. --- a regional practice brokerage and transition firm that specializes in appraisals and sales of dental practices, she has been serving dentists in New England and New York since 1981. Sarah has 13 years practice brokerage and appraisal experience completing over 850 practice transitions and 700 appraisals of both general and specialty practices. She also lectures nationally on practice transitions and is a frequent guest speaker for several state and local dental associations, societies and dental practice related industries.
